Hartsel, CO- based South Park Telephone (SPT) is pleased to announce that it has completed a major upgrade to its tower site which is located on the summit of Dick’s Peak in Park County, Colorado.
“We have completely replaced the solar power plant and have upgraded the radio equipment,” commented David Shipley, SPT General Manager. “This upgrade will not only provide a huge improvement in reliability of our communication services, but will allow us to serve more customers with better broadband speeds. This investment is just one of many projects we are currently undertaking as part of our goal to bring advanced services to the area.”
SPT has been serving Hartsel, Fairplay and the surrounding areas since 1996 with fiber-to-the-home and fixed wireless high speed internet services. SPT is part of the USConnect family of companies.
